The first time I saw Anders F--king Bash, he was shirtless, armed, and simultaneously the most beautiful and frustrating man I’ve ever met.

He has not gotten any uglier. Or any less frustrating. And today I finally took a swing at him.

Our boss thinks a simple op in East Texas is exactly the thing we need to mend our relationship and restore the team dynamic.

Does it make sense to mess with the Guardians’ new hired gun every chance I get? No. Does it mean I’m going to stop? Also no.

That said...the more I get to know him, the more I realize how much he's hiding behind those walls of his. And this little road trip is the perfect opportunity to thoroughly explore the real Omar.

I just hope I haven’t pushed him too far this time.

Loving this series

I’m so glad I took a chance on this author. I heard the narrator before and loved him, so I tried out Hard Target. It was hilarious and action packed with just the right amount of tenderness. This installment had more action, but was still very funny with great explosions. Can’t wait for the next audio.

Anders & Omar!

I'm new-ish to Kelly Fox books, and certainly didn't read the 3 series I've read in any sort of reading or publication order. So I've been longing for Anders story since I discovered the first ranch series I read. This one is amazing and perfect!
I highly recommend going to the website to find the reading order. Not all are on audible (yet??) but most are. I enjoyed all the ones I've read so far, but I can't wait to listen to them all, and in order this time. I know I'll make so many more connections that way.
On to book 3 in this series!

Very funny

I like Anders F***ing Bash more then I probably should. Him and Omar together are hilarious and when you add in Zane Daniels narrating it’s a definite yes for me.

One of the best audio books I've ever listened to

Maybe the best, and that includes some excellent stories.
This is one of my favorite books of all time, and Zane Daniels adds to the telling with his spot-on narration. He keeps all the voices distinct and never one did I feel like I was being read to. I love these characters as if they are my family, and Zane does them justice.

Omg I need an Anders in my life😂

Omar and Anders were the definition of opposites attract!!

The banter between them was sexy, intense and at times hilarious!!

I laughed at Ander's silly antics and Omar trying his darnest to resist Ander's charms.


I didn't know mercenaries could be so adorably cheeky and swoon worthy.


Absolutely loved the narration.
