Relatively peaceful after the breakdown of the Soviet Union, the world has seen a resurgence of wide scale violence in wars, most notably in Ukraine and in the Gulf. The old enemies of hatred and the fault of personalities are performing a comeback. Spirituality has been taking a back seat, also notably in the Tech sphere where the fair-world is being scribbled over by monopolistic dystopian return of the evil ways.
In this book we briefly consider the salient point of the Gita with regard to modern psychology. We also consider its role against hatred, and on the spiritual aspects of small gifts alongside the practical benefits of the climate. Later we discuss the concept of self-control and also extol on the virtues of personal rights (which are still being threatened all over the world) in conjunction with the passages in the Gita. Care has been used make this book accessible to a broader range of audience, and in the final section we dedicate to a few contemporary philosophies which took inspiration from the Gita.
Happy reading!
-Dr. Bishnu Goswami
