I have only listened to the first two books. I found the story to be good, but not amazing. I do read/listen to a lot of books, so my bar may be higher than the average person.
I can't really point to there being anything wrong with the writing. I just wasn't being surprised with anything. I found the plot-line to be very predictable. I still enjoyed the books and may return to finish the series sometime in the future.
