America continues the struggle to become a country for everyone...

1873, already challenging, becomes even more so.

Abby's predictions come true - creating tragedy and hardships for millions of Americans.

Frances and Felicia encounter challenges and adventures in Boston.

Hobbs discovers an invention that will change his life - if he can avoid discovery from the KKK.

Minnie is being horribly bullied at school. The solution is one no one anticipated.

While everyone might long for things to simply stay the same, life forces and provides new beginnings for everyone.

Volume # 21 of the Bregdan Chronicles continues the sweeping historical saga that now encompasses September 1873 - January 1874

It has been a year since I last experienced a Bregdan Chronicle. Now that I have completed this book I feel I have come home to women & girls who have seen me through
another year. From page 1 I was catapulted right back to Cromwell Plantation & all the characters I’ve been missing! Men & boys too included. Thank you, Ginny, for your beautiful gift of storytelling! Stay well!

I do miss the unique voices of all the characters but.... I mostly listen to audiobooks rather than reading. I listen when I knit or sew and also driving. I am greatful to be able to continue the story and frankly this is one of the best virtual voice books I have listen to. There are a couple of miss pronunciations but they are typical of anyone unfamiliar with the correct pronunciation. I would much rather listen to a well read book than to one that was not up to the par of previous Brendan Chronicles readers.

I do dislike the virtual reading. Takes so much away from the characters of the book. Disappointing.

I have enjoyed the ups and downs of history as woven into this strong family group. It isn't always pleasant but it speaks of the resilience of family and love.
