One look is all it takes for Zach Caruso to know that Crockett could be his.

All he would have to do is snap his fingers, and she’d fall right into the palm of his hand.

Which is why Zach turns around and walks far, far away.

He tries not to look back.

He tries to leave her be.

But then he sees how she’s treated by the people that are supposed to love her, and all cognitive thoughts seem to flee his rational brain.

One second, he’s running in the opposite direction. The next, he’s playing her knight in dingy armor.

God help her.

I love Lani Lynn Vale and every word she puts on paper! How awesome is this book!!! I'm positive that many readers other than just me have been wanting to know Crockett's story. And to add to it, more of Zach Caruso and his history that we all know and love!!! Pure magic right there! OMG and what a story to pull them together! I can't even come close to saying enough about this book!! Thank you Lani Lynn Vale, because once again....you nailed it!!! And Holy Moly..... Connor Crais and CJ Bloom!!!! WOW. You guys definitely brought your best for us in this narration! Thank You both!! ❤❤🔥🔥

Was a awesome book. Love all of Lani Lynn Vale's books. I have all other books. Started with Boomtown and haven't missed one yet.

Another great book by Lani Lynn Vale. Excellent story. The characters are great as well as the narrators. Highly recommend.

Zach and Crockett

Absolutely fantastic story. So glad we finally get Zach’s story. This was definitely a page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat. Zach and Crockett’s journey is suspenseful, thrilling, heartfelt and simply beautiful. I enjoyed every single second of this story.
Connor Crais can read the phone book and I listen. CJ Bloom is just as great.
