Headline 2014 could be 2020, so sad.

Mr. Howard has written a story that could be taken from today's Headlines. Although this story is about 6 years old, I think, it is about a problem that has existed for many years. The story starts out with a bang and doesn't stop, the suspense keeps on going right to the end when we find out who is responsible. Renee Maxwell does another great job with this story although they are a couple of tiny stumbles, that could have been caused by Audible but it doesn't influence the story at all. I really enjoyed this book and I'm always ready to read or listen to more of this author's books.

GENEVIEVE. by Howard Blair
Suspect was strangled, married to one of the wealthy of Tennessee. Gucci bag, minus cash, and jewelry. near by. Grandfather that didn’t think she was good enough to marry into the family, and the grandson was the only boy to carry the name on. Till she finally felt that way also,and a free spirit. Questions Captain Kate had, did they know she had a unique blood type, plus another factor. A family will they mourn the lost, as detective talked to them, didn’t. seem like they would. Harry Starke has taught her well, there are many. suspects, and twists,and very captivating to the end.
Narration by Maxwell was good, clear and added to the story.

Renee Maxwell does an amazing job getting into character. You feel as though you are a part of the cast.

See if you can solve the murder before Lf Kate.

Another great murder mystery. Great plot with many twists and turns. Keeps the reader engaged and guessing if you can silver it first.

A riveting murder mystery

Genevieve is a story of murder, privilege, and racism that centers on the death of a rich man’s wife. Kate Gazzara is an interesting character and her investigation into this woman’s death makes for a riveting tale.

The narrator is well suited for the book and does a terrific job bringing it to life.
