Learning a new language is not easy, and it can be quite boring and tiring if you don't have the right tools to learn it. You will be the judge, as you surely know there are several books similar to this one for learning German, but they are not really optimal or suitable for beginners for different reasons: complicated terms are used, they have too long stories with no parallel text in English, lack of vocabulary, grammatical errors, lack of techniques and suggestions, and other carelessness issues that you will not find in this book.

Good resource

Love these stories. They are pretty much the way people really speak. Just the right length. The vocabulary at the end is very helpful.

Quick and Entertaning way to Learn German

"First off, I'd say you still need to have a good grasp of German, because it's not for complete beginners who don't know any words in German. Probably more for the Level 2 to 3 beginner to intermediate.

Effective

These are basically beginning short stories for those wanting to be able to read German fluently. They're quite short, rather odd, but keep your interest. I would arrange the book slightly differently but it works.

It is very easy to understand and I find it as a great way how to extend vocabulary and also improve a fluency just by listening to it daily. Highly recommend for anyone who learns German.
