One can't help but to like Gertrude

She's annoying. She's not too worldly. She can be a little dense. But gosh darn I like her! Do you know someone like Gertrude??? She won't back down and she is pretty good at solving mysteries and who dun its. She orders her friend around and makes him pay for everything. But here again, you cheer for her!
