Heroic pilots must rely on their psychic gifts, archaic swordsmanship, and advanced combat training to survive deep space dogfights and bloody close quarters melee. They step up to defend the universe, and then come back to a harem of beautiful women, if they survive. Pretty good deal for a couple of top gun starfighter jocks. They've put down terrorist insurgents, gone kill for kill with mercenaries, and taken out drug dealing cartels. They even captured one of history's most notorious all female space pirate crews and added them to the harem on board Hard Rain. All of which means nothing to the relentless undead ships that emerge from deep space and begin rampaging across the free-fire zones. Merciless fleets of hideous starships launch a campaign of wanton slaughter and callous destruction, and it soon falls to the crew of the Hard Rain to stand against them. Soon it becomes clear that the fate of the universe is in the hands of a select few, one of those being Corwin. His psychic talents have grown to tremendous levels, and with the help of his deadly lover Precious, his best friend Tank, and his unlikely ally Queen Dredge, the Starwing pilot has to step up and save the universe from certain doom as the darkness between the stars unleashes a cavalcade of terrors upon civilization.
