Spooky without being too scary for kids

These are short, fun, and spooky stories that would be great for a halloween party or for telling stories around the campfire. My two grandchildren enjoyed some of them, but one 9 year old got a little bit squeemish about going to bed afterward. Still, they are mostly harmless and have some twisty endings that end up being a lot of fun.

got this fun book for my 9 year old since she loves stories before bed and she loves it but I'm actually using it for myself, I now listen to it every night, funny how you never know what you are going to end up liking.
