Ghostly Friends, Family Feuds, Magical Endings

A sweet second volume though I must say as I said for Cate Lawley's Night Shift Witch series it seems unfortunate to make folks pay for each of these very brief stories individually instead of in a bundle. I really love this series and am fascinated to get little piecemeal information about the backdrop character Glenda the Goode Witch and the politics she is dancing around to arrange unique and magical matchmaking. This story, like the first, is a fresh and fun supernatural cozy mystery romance with fun, drama, and great characters. I really enjoyed the inclusion of Hillary's (the friend of the protagonist in book one of this series) grandfather. It felt like a community effort to create a happy ending. I definitely feel engaged and am impressed with how much I fall into these stories despite the short length. It was fun to hear cameos from Beth from the first volume and how she and her boyfriend are doing. I am also looking forward to learning new info about Glenda who seems to be a bit of a rebel to both magical and non-magical folks she interacts with. The romance was sweet and the drama was brief more superficial but this was a very condensed story, it has that Hallmark feel where something sad and intense is spoken and resolved in one scene. For those that enjoyed the first I think you will enjoy this second, light, playful, magical, but without tons of depth to keep track of. An easy listen while you are doing things throughout your day.

Fun

I love this audio book. the narrator really brought the story to life. The story is a light and funny story about a girl who helps her grandfather's cursed friend. I highly recommend it.

First let me say, I got this for free in return for a honest review. This was a great lighthearted story that made a lengthy commute enjoyable. I've enjoyed the series and this is another lively installment.
