Great First in Series

I really enjoyed meeting mother and daughter MCs, Lily and Cassie. They are authentic, intelligent characters who, after suffering a double loss, pick up stakes and move to a seemingly ideal seaside town where they buy a house with a questionable reputation and open a shop. Their welcome seems mixed, with friendly citizens but repeated vandalism and disturbances. Readers will enjoy deciding if the house they bought is haunted or if human mischief is afoot. A great addition to the character mix is the good sheriff, Wyatt. I love the easy manner in which he befriends the two newcomers, and I am oh so glad to skip the enmity and incompetent cop routine of many cozy series. I am looking forward to my next visit with these new friends.

Great mystery & storyline!

The plot was ongoing, with no lags in excitement and interest. The voices were well-done. No dislikes, I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook.

Suspense until end with a good ending but didn't care for the sounds of the voices.
