Worst reader ever
Monotone- no punctuation- no inflection
Couldn’t get through book because of it

Not sure who was the narrator but they did a very bad job of it, it sounded like a machine, no emotion at all and when it was a male suppose to be speaking she had the same voice as a female. Get a better person to read the books.

horrible narration

even the synthesized narrator I've heard does better. it pronounces words wrong but at least it's not monotone. I'm 6 chapters in and couldn't tell you more about the story than a girl is missing. i cannot listen to this anymore

Narrator sounds like AI

While the story was ok, the writing style didn't grab me enough to ride the emotional rollercoaster along with the main character. I just couldn't empathize as much as I wanted to -
The real turn off - I actually had to look at the name of the narrator and was shocked that it wasn't an AI. The narrator incorrectly pronounced words such as "live" - and lacked the lilt and intensity this story deserved. I would expect this poor narration from an AI but not from a person -
I usually enjoy binge listening to a series - unfortunately not this series.

Most boring narrator

The story is great but the narrator will put you to sleep. She read the entire book in a monotone voice. I had to turn her off to enjoy the book. Great book though. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.
