Si levano voci che chiedono di emarginare gli antichi, per esempio a scuola. Sarebbe una amputazione sciocca. Lo studio degli antichi costituisce invece una potente risorsa per comprendere quel che ci accade intorno: il rapporto libertà-dipendenza, la lotta per la cittadinanza, la competenza come requisito della politica.
