Fred, as Brady names his space rock, turns out to be one of the rarest meteorites ever found. Professor Rip Ripley from the museum in Hill City wants to study a sliver of it in search of extraterrestrial bacteria. He's hoping to discover the first proof of life beyond Earth, a momentous breakthrough for the new science of astrobiology.

During a week of extreme bicycling, fishing, and caving, Brady and Quinn battle their rivals, the notorious Carver boys, for possession of the meteorite. With each new day, Brady is discovering he's able to do strange and wonderful feats that shouldn't be possible. At the same time, he's developing some frightening symptoms. Could he be infected with long-dormant microbes from space? Is Fred a prize or a menace?

Go Big or Go Home - interesting story & characters

A fun story with heart. We listen as a boy teen from the Black Hills of SD's life and body changes due to FRED (the asteroid's) affects on his body and perspective of his self/world/universe during a time of harsh under-employment conditions for his family and community. His changing relationship with his frenemies and especially their War Dog, Atilla, makes this a fun and entertaining story.

The book was very good and the ready did exalent overall a really fantastic book, highly recommend listen ik ng for fun.

Go big or go home stuff

I think this book was pretty interesting, I mean a lot of stuff did carry-on for a bit too long in my opinion but if other people liked the book and I say that’s good for them but for me on the other hand, I didn’t enjoy it as well as I was thinking.

Awesome and original

Great likeable characters, incredible story with good twists that make sense and hilarious moments also. A great read.

Cute young adult story

This is a cute and quick entertaining story about two cousins and their adventures. Perfect for the early teen set who like action and comedy.
