The Influencer

Amelia Ashley shares everything with her followers—her favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurants, her best fashion tips, and her European trip of a lifetime with her hot boyfriend.

The Boyfriend

Josh has no choice but to return home without Amelia after she abandons him in Rome. He has no clue where she went or how her blood got in his suitcase. Why won't anyone believe him?

The Hacker

To Harper Delgado, Amelia Ashley is just another missing white girl whipping up a media frenzy. But with each digital knot she untangles about the influencer, Harper wonders: who is Amelia Ashley?

The Other Girl

Two years ago, another girl went missing, one who never made headlines or had a trending hashtag.

The Truth

Amelia's disappearance has captured the world's attention. What comes next? Watch this space…

Told through a mixture of social media posts, diary entries, and firsthand accounts, Going Dark is a gripping, suspenseful thriller about all the missing girls who fall off the radar, perfect for true crime fans and fans of One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus.

Riveting for a YA story. Much like a teen Gone Girl but without the naughty scenes. Smartly written and full of intrigue.

With each chapter grew more and more suspense! I couldn’t stop listening! Very good narrative.

The story kept me entertained, but the jumping back and forth in time was a bit confusing. Once I was able to keep the characters straight, I could visualize how the story was to play out. The question is, will Amelia return to her adopted persona, since she was having fun being famous? 🤔

Left Me Wanting More

Predictable but entertaining. Had the characters been more developed I would have enjoyed it more but overall it was a decent read.

Not bad!

I found the first part of the book to be wonderfully suspenseful, engrossing, and kept me wondering about the possibly unreliable narration. I mean, who just gets on a plane and leaves their significant other in a foreign country? In the second section, the narrative shifted and it bogged a little, but the story was neatly tied up, and all the plot twists were revealed by the end.

Nice Twisty Tale
