This Newbery-winning children's book consists of monologues from about 20 different young characters in a medieval village; the sons & daughters of tanners, millers, farmers, lords, ladies.

Smartly done and charming.

I am a Drama teacher, and I intend to use some of these with my students. The voice acting was great, and it really portrayed the lives of people at that time accurately!

Great creative historical fiction!

The idea is great… yet not appropriate for 4-6 graders. While the topic of 10th to 12th century times is interesting it doesn’t hold the intended audiences attention. I have been inspired by the idea though. Artificial Intelligence is a great way for student to create and enact their own monologue on topics more relevant to them and their daily lives.
The audio production is amazing! I loved listening to the story read.

Inspiring
