Gopalla Gramam

A group of Telugu Nayakkers are forced to migrate from their ancestral village when their King wants to marry the youngest daughter of the family. After a long arduous journey south they settle down in a forest patch in south Tamil Nadu, clear it and start a living there, calling the place - Gopalla Gramam. We follow five generations of their story till 1858, just after her majesty takes India over from the East India Company.
