Scientists outside of the diet industry have discovered powerful ways of losing weight that almost nobody knows about. Grand Theft Weight Loss "steals" their most important discoveries and shows us how they can be used to cut hunger, quit sugar, stop overeating, "shrink" your stomach and eliminate unhealthy cravings. For example, when brain researchers accidentally bumped into a technique that cuts hunger by 50 percent they didn’t publicize it, because they were studying memory, not weight loss.

The science archives are full of hidden gems like this and so is this book. Tired of yo-yo dieting, endless cravings, and restrictive eating plans? Let brain researchers, Addiction Medicine specialists, evolutionary biologists, behavioral psychologists, and physiologists help you achieve what all those weight-loss experts couldn’t: permanent weight loss.

I loved this book from beginning to end! The author did a great job of providing every idea in real-world contextual examples. The organization of the chapters is very logical as many of the ideas build well upon each other. I was not expecting so many tangible real-world small things that one can do to have big impacts on their weight loss journey. I especially loved learning how these weight loss secrets were discovered, often serendipitously, from completely unrelated fields from nutrition.

I was also surprised that the author narrated the audio book himself, its highly polished and his voice lends itself well to the audiobook format.

Great real tangible discoveries!
