Her first night hosting brings two rival magicians, their complicated entourages, and enough drama to fill every room. But when the arrogant Magnus Morrison is found dead while practicing an escape trick, Lena realizes one of her guests is a killer.


With help from her best friend Charlie, Sheriff Mark, and her grandmother's ghost, she must uncover which guest is dealing in deadly illusions. As old rivalries, buried passions, and dangerous secrets emerge, Lena learns that in a house full of magicians, the deadliest tricks happen off-stage.

Not thrilling

Just not a well developed story. It had very little to engage me into caring how it turned out.
