Most of these stories a reorder Holiday short stories. There are classic such as A Christmas Carol and Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Clause. Some of them are lesser known such as one of my favorites by L M Montgomery. The one that was waaay too long was the story of Flame and the dogs. Read read great but should have been a short story but it dragged on and on instead. And I am a Christmas and dog lover to quote the author. Had to give up on it!

Mostly great, but not all hits

I truly enjoyed the wide variety of Christmas stories and the variety of narrators, they each brought a little something extra to the story that they gave voice. I particularly enjoyed the tales by Washington Irving. If you enjoy a variety of holiday/Christmas customs then this is the book you may want to give a listen to.

What a lovely collection of Christmas stories!

Altho the narrators did a good job, there were too many stories that were not familiar at all and thus not "great classics". It started off with Dickens' "Chritmas Carol", which I really enjoyed but then lost me - except for "Gift of the Maji" and "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus", and the Beatrix Potter. All the other stories were awful. I'd pass on this one.

Not for me
