A lot has changed since 1933, over 90 years ago. Russ Warnky is 91, and Carolyn, his wife, is 88. Together, they just celebrated 70 years of marriage. Their son, Chris, shares about many of their most memorable experiences of the past 90 years. Some of those experiences are no longer available, while others remain. Chris initially wrote this book for his grandkids and future generations, focusing on what Russ and Carolyn did as kids. This is a story about what it was like to grow up in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. The book grew to reflect the key points from much of their 90 years of life. Enjoy learning about how the older generation lived. Perhaps you are from one of those generations and will enjoy reminiscing about the past, or maybe you are much younger and have no idea how kids spent their time back then.
