Thank God I was filing papers while I listened to this audio book. Had I been driving a car, I could have been killed when I dosed off.

Chris Brinkley has a very pleasant voice so I can't put the blame on him.

As for the content of the book, well it starts off with a little history lesson that I enjoyed. It then went on to the specifics of growing tomatoes. The trouble was that it lacked any sort of character. It was just the facts without any sort of whimsy that might make it memorable or enjoyable.

"The white fly is a pest... blah blah blah."
"Too much nitrogen can burn the plant... blah blah blah."

The book is informative but IT IS DRY!

I would not recommend this as an audiobook but it might have been an okay text book.

Wow! A Great book! Big, Juicy, Full, Ripe Tomatoes

love it. tells you everything you need to know to make you at least an intermediate Gardner. BOOM!

Not about Organic

Small section about organic growing, but this book is about growing with fertilizer. Wish it was actually about organic growing.
