entertaining short

I’ve found that I like Michele Mills books, including this one. I’ve already collected her Monsters Love Curvy Girls and Monster Bites series. I really like The Swirl trilogy but have that only in ebook format. My preview of the original audio narration was not positive.

Possible Spoilers:
Katie Ross is on jury duty and her name was deliberately leaked and she’s being stalked, bullied & vilified because of the popularity of the defendant. Her family is well to do and hires Vander Best, an alien bodyguard, through the Spartan Shield Corp.
He’s very efficient and effective in protecting her but they’re both majorly attracted to each other and discuss the possibility of mating. It takes all their strength to hold out until the trial is over and their contract ends. At 1hr59m, it’s a relatively short read that only has one lovemaking scene after they are engaged. Nice & easy entertainment.

Virtual Voice is improving but still has a long way to go. Too many mispronunciations and off pacing. I wanted to scream by the third time Cerberus was mispronounced. Does not dose.
