He’s a federal agent. She’s committed a federal immigration crime, letting her “husband” buy his way into the country. But it’s no big deal. He’s a bear shifter who announces he’s her mate. Also no big deal.
She’s black and blue and fresh off an attack, but one bear-hug later and *poof* sex, bad guys gone, HEA. The story moves too fast to be credible, even for shifter romance.
