A day in the life, abbreviated version

Chock full of terminology and processes that only a med student or ardent viewer of medical drama shows would find familiar, Guardians is presented as more lecture than story with myriad examples of operating room behaviors and preparations, both desirable and less so. It's an honest and cautionary tour through multiple vital support functions, their mental and physical requirements, expectations, accolades, and potential failures. I didn't encounter much humor or wizardry, but I suppose these are subjective. I did find myself temporarily transported into a career of patient care from a viewpoint that is rarely explored as deeply or with as much reverence. Praises to the Guardians that keep every surgery running smoothly and with successful outcomes. [Disclosure: I received this title for free and listened at 2.0x.]
