What made the experience of listening to Guilt by Association the most enjoyable?
As a new author, I enjoy that the book was right up my alley. It grabbed my attention from chapter one and kept me guessing until the end. What did you like best about this story?
I liked the working relationship between Rachel and Bailey. They knew how to play off each other and it kept the book from dragging on and on. Didn't have the macho profanity, blood and BS in other novels. Since this is a new author, it was not a book that had a predictable ending. Thus, I didn't want to stop listening.Which scene was your favorite?
In my mind, visualizing Rachel tackling a female assailant in a dark alley after she assaulted Rachel with her huge handbag made me chuckle. That being said, at times, Rachel really crossed the line between DA and cop. It was difficult to imagine a DA in some of the situations. Kidnapped, bullets whizzing by, chasing suspects down a dark alley......Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definitely. Fresh author kept me listening. And as the story continued, being able to tie the storylines together without effort into a seamless ending was amazing. I never felt like I was jumping between two different stories.Any additional comments?
I think other authors in this genre will be hearing Marcia, Marcia, Marcia everywhere they go.Marcia, Marcia, Marcia........ What a start!
