Atlantic City is a kiddy pool and the sins in Las Vegas are like good deeds compared to The Casino; Lauryn's place, the roughest spot in Philly to roll sevens and yell out blackjack. Welcome to her gambling spot. A place where all bets are covered, drinks are unlimited, and prostitution is free. It's a place where all disputes are settled by the law of the gun and no one man can stand alone. Between running an illegal gambling house and preparing for her husband to be released from prison, Lauryn learns a vicious lesson in family values and how dealing with family can be like dealing with a total stranger. It will only take a single bullet to divide her family, but even more bullets to bring it back together.

I know that this is a work of fiction but the last 4 charters didn't seem to end the story well. I like the wtiting style somewhat but more character development would have been nice. HATED the ending, too fairytail-ish for a street novel, one of my favorite genres of books

just okay
