One of my favorite books.

This bookseries are the reason I still read and listen to books. I stopped reading books 15 years ago, and started reading again 5 years ago.
This series was my way back to books, an fantastic syfi story all the way through!

Posleen Invasion of Earth

This is a military science fiction book. I enjoyed the poems by Rudyard Kipling that started each chapter. The story wound its way between the individual lives of key people and the battle for the earth. Lots of good military information about equipment and tactics lots of heroic battles and a few laughs here and there. I hope the next book in the series covers more about some the people touched on in this story such as XO Mrs. O'Neal in her frigate.
also the O'Neal's daughter with her grandfather. The book was long but it moved right along. Marc Vietor did an excellent job narrating the story.

Extremely well produced

Narration was excellent with the story I’ve read before and the character development was good to

I found this in 2012 and cliche as it sounds, the

characters feel very much like like old friends. There is a tremendous amount of detail and 20 years since publication it idn't feel dated..- still a great read..
The Narration deserves something special. Saying it was FANTASTIC isn’t doing it justice. There are so, so many ways he could have ruined audio book and doesn’t. It really has to be experienced to understand the quality product it is..I sense that either Mr Ringo or someone that truly loved the book was very involved in editing.
This is a Classic up there with favorites -R Heinlein, Asimov, Dick, ...on and on.

Very Good Series

This was a whole series condensed in to two books. For the most part I throughly enjoyed it and will look for more by the writer. Great narration.
