The pressure is on in Gust of Wind, the third episode of the Quest of the Guardians series. The clock is ticking and Jakin is in a coma, so Malakai steps up to continue the quest in Jakin’s place. Determined to find and protect Malakai; Luka, Tao, and Mita plunge into the swamps of Wind Drifter Island, unaware of the dangers that lurk there. When Mita is captured and thrown into the gladiator games in a fight to the death, Tao and Luka must carry on without him.

Meanwhile, trapped in the Blue Room of Kinsa Castle, Simeena has a chance to escape when she attends the games with a rapidly aging King Faeran, who has brought Margo into his dining-room as a servant...and bait for Malakai.

The race is on when Jakin awakes and rushes to stop Malakai—who doesn’t know his life is in far more danger than he realizes...

Enjoyed by readers young and old, if the Quest of the Guardians was a movie it would be rated PG-13 due to fight scenes and battle violence. NO sex or foul language. If you liked Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter, or Lord of the Rings, you’re likely to enjoy the Quest of the Guardians.
