It's unknown what prompted Tommy Zucker to adopt his lifestyle, but it seems he’s living a Jeckyll and Hyde existence. When he snaps and enters his Jeckyll personality, a man of hatred toward women emerges. He’s almost found the key to committing the perfect crime, until the day arrives when he’s interrupted during his offense.

Detective Lieutenant James Kemp takes on the case and, through his tireless efforts, develops the case and a potential suspect.

The reader experiences the story through the eyes and motivations of the suspect, victim, law enforcement, and the judicial system. Dispelled throughout the story are the… television perceptions… of how the system operates. You’ll experience all the pitfalls and ‘boxes requiring a checkmark’ in the quest to bring the suspect to justice while observing and maintaining the suspect's civil rights.

Streetwise and cunning, Tommy goes on the run, managing to stay one-step ahead of those who pursue him. Law enforcement in three states, along with the FBI, goes after him. Tommy eventually makes a mistake that law enforcement capitalizes on. But is this the end, or does Tommy pull additional ‘wild cards’ from his deck of tricks?

The story eventually reaches a crescendo and an unexpected series of events that the reader never expects….
