Three sassy retirees. One dead developer. Zero patience for nonsense.

Welcome to Conch Key, where the sun is hot, the gossip is hotter, and the local beach just coughed up a corpse in Gucci loafers.

Daisy Picklesworth wanted nothing more than a quiet morning, a strong cup of tea, and to finish her mystery novel on the porch of The Barnacle. What she got instead was a bloated real estate mogul dead in the surf, a jellyfish charm that doesn’t belong, and the strong suspicion that someone in their sleepy seaside town just committed the most stylish murder Florida’s ever seen.

With her dramatic besties glamorous Babs, no-nonsense Rita, and the ever-sweet (but sneakily sharp) Mae Daisy’s about to do what she does best: meddle. Morty, the town’s grumpy police chief, says stay out of it. But when your house is the crime scene and your brunch is interrupted by body bags, what choice do you have?

Mimosas will be poured. Muffins will be weaponized. And secrets like sequin-covered ex-girlfriends and suspect town councilwomen will be exposed.

This is for you if you are a fan of books with a twist of murder and a splash of sass, so grab your caftan, tighten that bun, and get ready. This Florida-set cozy mystery is equal parts heartfelt, hilarious, and hazardous to anyone standing between these women and the truth.

First of all the I a generated voice is flat and lifeless. The author has written a silly book giving all of the characters ridiculous names. I didn’t even make it through two chapters before I had to just stop.

Ridiculous story, horrible narration

AI may not be the best reader. It sounded more like a documentary rather than an exciting mystery.

The story was okay for one chapter. The Ai was awful and flat. And it has absolutely nothing to do with the Golden girls. (It says golden girls cozy mystery)

The lie that it was Golden Girls!

This quirky story could’ve been very humorous if the writing hadn’t been so formal. It’s a great concept but people don’t speak in such formal language. Also the AI reading is horrible. There was incorrect pauses and punctuation was not always observed. There was no inflection in voice.

Writing, especially dialogue, too formal

Felt like it was written and read by AI. Character names and plot are ridiculous. Seems like a waste of a read in a sea of great books.
