Combined for the first time in one volume, here are the first three books of the HALF-ELVEN THIEF saga: HALF-ELVEN THIEF, WIZARD-THIEF, and HALF-ORC PALADIN!

Rivah Half-Elven is a master thief of the Court of the Masked King, the ruling thieves guild of the imperial city of Tar-Carmatheion. Yet her debts hang over her head like a sword that might fall at any moment.

So when a guildmaster of the Court orders her to take a job from a mysterious client, Rivah has no choice but to accept.

But the client wants her to steal the spell book of a fearsome and powerful wizard.

And when you steal from a wizard, death might be the happiest outcome…and it will take all of Rivah’s wits, skills, and courage to survive.

No spoilers just vagaries…

The stories of renegades are fun with suspenseful and the next step, fast pace, of flawed people in a flawed world. The stories may be about heists but they have an over arching story like worldly effects compared to the illegal jobs.

The characters are complex such as smart and calculating but also lustful and prideful. Even the simpletons but even with them, it can be implied that they are just using that as cover. The primary character is a rogue but she has a good conscience and also has flaws which makes (at least me) root and care for her and her friends.

The world is just one massive city within a vast empire with wild surroundings its borders. The society is greatly flawed but beyond the borders is nightmarish however the backgrounds around the tight situation the characters find themselves in adds stakes to it. Also, the city the stories take place instead of the literal entire world at risk of the outcome makes the direct and indirect consequences more personal.

Great story, characters, and world
