It's Rita Hayworth's one year anniversary as magical magistrate. She was planning on a quiet, enjoyable October and an uneventful Samhain Court. But living in Hallow Hill means she'd be crazy to expect quiet or uneventful.

Haunting dreams and bless-ed things
Magic life and lions with wings
Trackers, strays, and birthday rings
Let us see what Samhain brings.

This is the story of a woman forced to start over in midlife. But when the reset button was punched, she found herself in a hybrid reality filled with magical creatures and a unique take on fairy tales. Follow Rita's humorous and romantic journey. You may find yourself wishing it was you!

The narrator drove me nuts

I love the addition of the Greek side to this series. I have enjoyed the character development in the lives of the residents of hallow hill and can NOT wait to see where it’s headed.

GREAT STORY!

Too much back and forth without appropriate time in between. Even the ending of the story just stopped. Very disappointed.

The story could have been good but the segways were terrible.

I spent half the time listening to this book wondering who actually wrote it because it sure didn't sound like the author of it even knew the characters. The Clerk was angry and distracted. The Cephaleon was running off ignoring his wife's safety. The Judge herself is written in this book to be a self-centered, self-absorbed, ungrateful, careless, self-destructive fool who takes and takes from others and doesn't even bother to think about her own neediness. I just about hated the Judge by the end of this book. It's basically ruined my trust in the author.

love the series BUT not this book
