After decades of waiting, Michael Myers has returned. Join Lindsey Wallace and Tommy Doyle as they are forced to reacquaint themselves with the terror that is Michael Myers. Lindsey gets far away from Illinois and stays with her college friend Beth Parkinson in New Orleans. Lindsey finally feels safe. That is, until a familiar mask is spotted in the crowd of party cruise passengers during their masquerade party.

Happy Halloween.

Pros:
first and foremost, I love how much of a fan of the Halloween franchise the author is and clearly this story was written with love and care. I love that Tommy and Lindsay were the main focus of the story and that Michael had to go across the country just like in Halloween. H2O to go after his victim. And the overall climax. 2 to the story does feel like a true ending because Michael - spoiler alert; dies in this one as well

cons:
This is another timeline in which Lori dies offspring again. the same thing happened in Halloween 4 and the same thing happened in Halloween Resurrection except in Resurrection. My biggest problem is a virtual narration. The actress of lake Lindsay in the original Halloween movie with area giving some ambiance to the story. honestly, anybody can make a narration for this book and it would be 10 times better than the virtual narrator that audible hired.

overall:
overall the story is great and a short run which is good. but if you ain't terrible information you might just want to get the paperback version of the book and read it instead of listening to it.
8/10

How to review this without spoilers? Suffice it to say, we FINALLY got our Halloween 3 (with Michael Myers and continuing some 40 years later of the events of Halloween 2). A new location, a new spin, an old grudge brought back from the dead. Bravo to the writer!

Must Listen for ANY Halloween fan.
