Newfound Respect

I grew up with the Broad Street Bullies. My hockey fandom might have been born of the WHA's Philadelphia Blazers but it was the Bullies and winning 2 Cups which solidified my love of the game. Schultz, of course, was always a favorite and listening to this book and the troubles he had in life, even today, and how he's dealt with them, has given me newfound respect for him. Dave, and the rest of those Flyer teams, will always be beloved in this area. Not just because they won Cups but because they were regular guys. Dave is no exception.
