He’s an ex-Marine who is tired of being a security expert and sometimes PI for the rich. Thankfully, this current job should be the last, and it’s an easy one. He just has to keep an eye on pretty Paige Harris and prevent her from being ambushed by the press. Piece of cake. Too bad he finds himself falling for Paige more each day. Complicating issues, he’s not allowed to tell her who he is and why he’s in Honey, Texas.

But the more time he spends with her, the more he worries that once she finds out why he’s there, she’ll decide he’s as crooked as a dog’s hind legs.

I want more. I can’t believe it’s over. Loved love that book loved the storyline, the reader, everything. It made me so happy.

Sweet Texas Romance

Nice easy read. The voice used for narration was pleasant but offered no vocal variety so the
characters felt flat. Enjoyable enough for a break between books offering more depth.

I think the overall story was good but the dialogue was hard to follow due to virtual voice and it mispronounced simple words throughout the story. Examples: crowd pronounced crowed, P.I. Pronounced pie, etc
