Life on social media can look like a fantasy. But what if you could see the story behind the fairy tale?

In Happily, popular TikTok influencers Steven and Ashley Evans share their infertility journey and their story of adoption while under the watchful eye of social media with heartfelt vulnerability, candor, and grace.

The Evans’s happily ever after started the same way a lot of stories do—swiping right. But Ashley and Steven never could’ve prepared for the mixed emotions and family struggles that would follow as they fought for their marriage and for the baby they wanted so desperately. Devastated by news of their infertility, Ashley and Steven turn to the only option they have left—adoption. As they struggle to find the right path forward, their growing social platform and new influencer status put them directly in the public eye, and people aren’t shy about sharing how they feel. But life isn’t all dance videos and lip syncing TikToks.

As complication after complication impedes their adoption hopes, Ashley and Steven fight to make the right decisions for themselves and for their family’s future. Full of vulnerability, determination, and love, Steven and Ashley built their own Happily ever after—bigger, fuller, and more beautiful than they’d ever imagined.

I have been following Ashley and Steven on social media for a long time now. I had no clue how much they all went through and this book really sheds light on how much they all went through to have their family. Not many families suffer as much pain and anguish and are able to turn it in to something so beautiful it is truly inspiring. Bless your beautiful family, and mckayla to for making it possible.

Ashley, Steven, Abriel and Mckayla went through so much, their story is inspiring

I chose to do the audio, I wanted to actually hear the voices of Steven & Ashley. Listening to the trials they’ve been through truly gives you a different perspective on the life they have been blessed with. Not everything is pearls and diamonds.

In the book of Luke 16:10 says it best…
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

What I’ve taken away from The Evans story “Happily” is best described by that scripture. And the fact that they’re Christians just confirms that to me.

As a now 52yr old grandma and someone who was told that “you’ll never be able to have children, it’s just been too much damage.” I can relate to some of the pain Ashley experienced as well as the blessed beauty by the fact I had 2 blessings. The fact that God gave them little to test their strength and yet did the same with me. In the end he gave both of us the desires of our hearts and that’s to actually experience all the good and not so good about becoming a mother of your own child.
