Crimes and secrets strangle this rural community, and when a new form of meth with the street name of gravel gets too close to home, it's enough for Tucker to put his badge back on and call Harley for help. The town will ultimately be better off with him as a resident lawman, but this unforgiving landscape will threaten everything Tucker holds dear.

HARD COUNTRY

This is an excellent action packed book. Tucker Snow is a cattle inspector kind of like Texas Rangers. He moves to a new town to recover from loosing his wife and child over a car accident involving the other driver on a new kind of meth. Gravel. The drugs shows up there and he gets help from his brother Harley to catch them. He starts a war with the drug dealers. He has to deal with crooked deputies. This is one of the best books I've listened to. A five star for sure. I will listen to this book again later. Eric Dove does a great job narrating this book. Decent suspense

Entertaining enough, but not as good as other Wortham series. Decent plot, if a bit convenient at times. The characters are likable, but not fascinating.

This book is just fine, and I don't regret the time spent reading it, but there are better in this genre.
