Jean Smart is super talented but still

Even Jean sounded like she was just reading the story at times. If you love V.I., then this will be like a warm blanket.

Loved the story

The narrator talked too fast! It would be easier to listen if it was read a bit slower.

Good story for a long evening curled up in a comfortable chair.

I enjoyed the time spent in listening to this tale. It was fun to have a wonderful story with lots of twists and turns.

Did not like the narration , very disappointed . Not enough voice inflection with the different characters

Love Jean Smart but Susan Errickson portrays V. I. in the tough character intended by Paretsky.
