Please fix the volume

Dear Audible, this is now book 3. Please fix the inconsistent volume and muffled sound for the characters’ voice. Your other full cast audiobooks don’t have this issue.

Best full cast adaptation so far !

Voice acting and sound effects were much better in the iteration. Overall, a spectacular addition to the series. Eager for each new volume. Great job Audible !
For those that are having difficulty hearing voices and background sounds on a small speaker like an Echo Dot or similar device, I have found that if you Bluetooth the book to a tv soundbar speaker or anything with larger speakers you’ll enjoy the books much more. The difference is pretty spectacular. Enjoy the books. I certainly am !

Amazing. Magical. Nostalgic.

Oh, what WONDERFUL performances! Once again, the voice actors absolutely knocked it out of the park. I must point out that Neville's voice is bang-on, and Draco's narration had me laughing so many times. Ron's narration, too, really impressed me in this book. Listening to HP again with these full-cast audiobooks is a truly magical experience. PoA is my favorite of the books, and I felt all sorts of emotions while reading along with this. I laughed, cried and smiled. What a ride! Listening to this full-cast audiobook felt like going home. HP is such a special world, and the performances did it justice. Sirius and Lupin are two of my favorite characters, with Sirius being my favorite character of the entire series, so I couldn't wait to hear their portrayals. Sirius's narration will have to grow on me, but let me tell you, Iwan Rheon as Lupin did not disappoint. I was a bit worried that I would not hear past his being Ramsay Bolton in GOT, but that was not the case! He was phenomenal. I can't go without mentioning Buckbeak. <3 The sound effects, background noises and music make for such an immersive experience. These full-cast audiobooks are the highlight of my year. I cannot wait for the fourth book!

The sound effects in the immersive experience

It feels like watching a movie without the visuals. The immersive sound and cast of characters is so fun to listen to.

Everything was Grade A except for the climax.....

Ever since I saw the movie, I wanted justice done with the Shrieking Shack scene, and unfortunately, the delivery failed in this one too. Ramsey Snow talked too slow and Ron sounded like he was crying the whole time. Ironically, Snape was the best part.
Such an important scene and they padded it for little reason, even I wanted to fall asleep.
