Coveted by the sadistic ruler of Caldor, fiery landowner Sabra Billerton becomes ensnared by the political intrigues of Baron Niles Turners court.

After she is pushed to the brink of losing her home, a dark-eyed soldier named Gheric intercedes on Sabras behalf. When the handsome stranger shows up that night on her doorstep, Sabra reluctantly agrees to his offer of support.

Little does she know Gherics timely intervention would become the catalyst of a revolution. A rebellion that will unearth the truth of Sabras past and set the course of her future.

Sabra must stave off the advances of the obsessive baron while trying to resist the charms of the dark-eyed warrior that has come to her aid in her time of greatest need.

Fun and action packed romance

This was a fun stand alone story that had several big reveals that were surpsing and changed the way the story unfolded. Spicy scenes were well done.
