I never thought my perp walk would lead to true love.

Then again, I never thought I’d be arrested on RICO charges and hauled away in zip ties on camera for the world to see, minutes after closing the most amazing deal of my career.

And all of it in front of my biggest rival, billionaire wunderkind Ian McCrory.

I am broke.

I am disgraced.

I am alone.

I am a sucker.

But the worst part? I have to go back to my hometown and live in my bedroom filled with relics from my childhood.

Lisa Frank never made me so mad before.

Just when I needed a rescue, I got one - in the form of help from my biggest rival.

He can’t bring back my money.

He certainly can’t bring back my reputation or my pride.

But there’s one thing he can bring back to me.

A sense of hope.

Maybe even love.

Ian sees something in me no one else does, and he’s relentless about making me see it, too. As we grow closer, I’m starting to see that while my entire life used to be a lie, the truth is staring me in the present - and it’s a truth I like very, very much, hot eyes and gorgeous smile and all.

But I have to be careful.

I can’t be too...that’s right...hasty.

The final book in the USA Today best-selling Do-Over Series (Fluffy, Perky, Feisty), as Mallory's sister, Hastings "Hasty" Monahan gets her turn at a happily ever after that starts off with an arrest.

Hers.

And ends with a surprisingly cheesy happily ever after.

This series is perfect. Each book is steamy AND funny, with very special characters, and a different plot that gives a little depth to the story.

This time, it’s a combination of a financial scandal and a character rediscovering themself. Both develop at the same time, and they both concern Hastings, Mallory’s sister.

I was seriously doubting at first that the author could pull it off. I mean, every time we met Hastings in the previous books, she wasn’t lovable. At all. Could I be interested in her story? Plus, she was married, and though I enjoy domesticity, I doubted this couple would be particularly cute. How wrong I was!

First of all, there’s no cheating, and yet it isn’t the story of Hasty and her husband, but you’ll have to read the book to know why and how. And since Hastings comes back to her hometown to lick her wounds, we see more of all the characters we loved in the previous books. And that’s where she’s going to look into herself and find the girl she’s really meant to be. A beautiful journey, with lots of laughs and love.

As always, the narration was impeccable. Top quality audiobook!

The narrator's voice with the complaining and anger at the start of the book put me off and i stopped listening. i fast forwarded to where she gets a grip and continued. The story line was good and the voice for Ian was good. I am glad i came back and finished the book.

interesting story

Hastings gets served a big vat of humble pie and has to re-evaluate her whole life when she realizes her world was built on the lies of her... fake husband?!?!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd be just as humiliated too.
Hastings' story was probably my favorite because it took a chance with someone who was not well-liked as the heroine and I think pulled it off beautifully. There was a lot of comical moments and interesting banter as well as a progressive plot.
The talented Erin Mallon narrates the entire series and does a great job with bringing to life the comical turmoil that befalls Hastings.

This laugh out loud romcom hits the spot! We’ve seen Hastings in the other books in the series and it was great to see her star in her own book and find her happily ever after.
You could not go with a better narrator for this character. Erin Mallon brings Hastings to life and is such a joy to listen to.

Loved it!

yeah, I can't completely believe that, but otherwise I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I really did not like Hasty in the last few books. In fact, I hated her. I an so happy to see her character development. I grew to love her. I liked Ian, but it was way too creepy his showing up all the time. Too much! Dude, why are you here? She should have questioned that a lot more than she did. I enjoyed how this played out except for the easy forgiveness. The performance was great and I recommend this book.

Pissed to no pants in no time flat.
