As the star forward for the Boston Blades, I've earned a reputation for no-strings attached hookups and a mean slapshot that has all the ladies purring - but it's never been the one woman I want to see all fired up and ready to score. Boston's own Ice Queen Gwen James has had my emotions all tangled up for years. I've played the games. I've sat on the sidelines. No matter her reasons, I'm done being benched. When she approaches me for a second chance, I accept on one condition: she's got to prove she's all in. No kissing. No sex. It just might kill me to keep my hands to myself, but it's time Gwen knows what it's like to beg. At the end of the day, I play to win, and I want what no other man has ever had...her heart.

Contains mature themes.

If you can’t pull off a Boston accent, don’t even try. That was rough and brought down an ok story.

• Thoughts:
I loved Gwen and Marshall!! I am pretty sure this is going to be my favorite couple! I loved everything about them! I loved how Gwen was the mean girl, but she was changing who she was and wanted to be better! Her family, well, her mother is awful!! I loved that Marshall was from Southy. He had a crappy childhood. I loved how he just accepted Gwen. I truly loved this couple the way they intertwined and.... just read this book. It was a good one.

•Narrator Thoughts:
Elizabeth Hart and Joe Hempel are the narrators, and they were actually new to me narrators. The south accent was a little rocky in the beginning. But other than that. I really enjoyed the narrators. They were great!

I loved the narrators and story. I loved how Gwen overcomes her fears. Maria Luis knows how to weave a good story. Gwen and Marshall both have very interesting back stories and I love how they come together in the end.

I very much enjoyed this!

Marshals voice was awful. The Boston accent was terrible and very hard to listen to. I struggled to get through the book even though I liked the story line

The Blades series has been a lot of fun, and I have really enjoyed it. But I wasn't sure I could handle Gwen as the heroine of this third installment because she was so horrible in the first book. I had to know if Maria could redeem her, though, so I dove in.
By the end of the first chapter, I was solidly on Team Gwen. I just wanted to give her a hug. As the story progressed, I was more and more impressed with how Gwen was choosing to improve her life. It sounds odd to say, but I was very proud of her. She struggles as the plot unfolds, but she finds her true strength.
Marshall is hot as all get out. But mostly I loved that he saw Gwen as who she was inside even when she had lost sight of that herself. His faith in her is lovely, and I am so glad for them to have their HEA.
The narrators did a great job with this story.
