A Post-Apocalyptic Men's Adventure

The worst has happened. A hostile force has invaded the region and overrun Haven.

Having been knocked unconscious at the beginning of the surprise attack, David awakens to a nightmare: two days have passed, and the Marauders own everything. All of the settlements are completely under their control, almost everyone in the whole region has been captured, and their patrols are everywhere.

But it isn't all hopeless. They've prepared for this, and as David heads out into the night to learn just how bad things are, he begins running into his friends who are still free and very much active. Now, he must gather together his scattered allies to begin a campaign of guerilla warfare against the Marauders. They will have to rescue their allies, take out patrols, and scavenge whatever supplies they can get their hands on.

It's not going to be easy, but David has fought way too hard to make this place his home to give up now...

Loved it!

Man I cannot get over how good this was. Ellory Lane is a wonderful narrator. She needs to solo narrate more often!

Great almost final book.

Audible needs to fix something.
I had to let this book run all night as I slept in order to give it a review because it wouldn't let me give a rating or review after the 1st time I listened to it.
But this book and series and the author and narrators are awesome and deserve the credit.
This is the final book before the short story epilog.
And it is as awesome as all the rest of the series.
This is a great series about surviving an apocalypse and dealing with monsters, both human and inhuman, and trying to live a good life while trying to build humanity back from the brink of extinction.
Wonderful book and wonderful series.
I give this book 8 out of 5 stars.

Amazing story.

Each book keeps getting better. Really great progression. Plenty of action, and spice. This is really a well written adventure from the start.
The narrator is excellent, not to many narrators can pull off both male and female voices and so many different accents. Ellory Lane is a master!!

Action Packed

David is once again in a dire situation and possibly about to lose everything he has worked to earn. His home, his friends and neighbors and most importantly the women that mean everything to him. After waking from an attack that leaves him unconscious, David sets out to fight to take back everything that is his. With help from those he finds and using gorilla tactics, David and his group are able to overcome the odds and a larger force, to retake their home. Another fantastic book in this series.

Ellory Lane continues to give an amazing performance.
