This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

Zora Collins is done playing nice.

Her family says romance novels are a waste of time. Her mother says Black stories don’t sell. And her bank account? Well, it’s saying eviction.

All Zora wants is to meet her deadline and prove that her voice—unapologetically Black, bold, and full of heart—deserves to be heard. But when a billionaire in an expensive suit steals her favorite café seat, her peace, and eventually… her breath, she’s forced to confront more than just writer’s block.

Harrison West is powerful, magnetic, and carrying secrets of his own. Their chemistry is instant. Their connection? Impossible to ignore.

But Zora’s not sure what’s scarier—falling for a man who sees her, or risking everything to write the stories no one wants her to tell.

If you love sharp banter, high heat, and a heroine fighting for their truth, this is the BWWM billionaire cinderella romance you didn’t know you needed.

Great storyline and though fiction. This storyline is an excellent one. One too good to get lost in horrible virtual voice narration. This would be great if the author could have a redo and include good narrators.

This story is much too good for virtual voice narration

I think this was a great take on the billionaire + regular black woman love story! This man doesn’t just drop money to make this woman’s life an unrealistic fairytale. Her autonomy is respected and protected in this story. A very refreshing read!

Love the position of this billionaire

What an amazing story. LOVED it!! Recommend it. The virtual voice didn’t really do it for me. It would mispronounce words and just didn’t have the “feeling” you’ll hear from real voice actors.

Amazing story!! Virtual voice - MEH

This books has a great storyline but it would have been a thousand times better if there had been human narrators.

Need human narrators

This book was ironically done a massive disservice to have it narrated via AI. It’s ironic due to the book having strong themes about how frustrating it is to have good books about people of color not given the same chance at success. The ai voice really made it hard to get into it but the actual story was really engaging. Though I still don’t understand what she was all mad about at the end it seemed blown out of proportion but aside from that really enjoyed it.

Lovely story awful narration
