He Lied. He Died. A Psychological Thriller About Memory, Betrayal, and the Lies We Live By

What if the worst lies aren’t the ones we tell—but the ones we believe? When investigative podcaster Grace Langford receives a chilling voicemail from whistle blower Ethan Cole—moments before his alleged suicide—she’s pulled into a conspiracy far more terrifying than she ever imagined.

Her brother vanished without a trace over a decade ago. Now the clues resurface—alongside the same name: Dr. Marcus Bell. A man erased from public record. A system built to delete people from reality. And a secret program designed to not only wipe your memory… but rewrite who you are. As Grace uncovers buried patient files, corrupted audio logs, and surveillance of her own life, she must confront a horrifying truth: She might already be one of them.

Part psychological thriller, part slow-burning mystery, He Lied. He Died. is a mind-bending descent into memory, identity, and the terrifying price of forgetting. Perfect for fans of Black Mirror Gone Girl, and Shutter Island, this is the first book in a gripping new series that will leave you questioning what’s real—long after the final tick. You were never supposed to remember. But now that you do… they’re coming.

I love thrillers and this book definitely didn’t disappoint. I love that this book explored the concept of believing a lie and just how detrimental it can be. The book has strong pacing as well, which I really liked.
