Just finished the Blossom Street & Midnight Son's series and wanted to venture in the Heart of Texas. DM's novel's always has a adventure but calming to her stories. so far this new venture has not disappoint my listening pleasure.

Totally Disappointed!

After listening to the Dakota series; which I ABSOLUTELY LOVED, I was very excited to start this series. Unfortunately, this first book took me months to complete. I continued to become bored with the story and would venture to other books to listen too. Once completed, I would return back to this book. I finally finished and will not move to book two.

This story warmed my heart!

I wanted to learn more about the ghost town! Did Richard run off or did revenge find him? Just an exciting hint to the next story.

The happy ever after theme! Easy listening , humorous moments and the small town lifestyle of the day.
