i got questions, who is Kayla in book 5? what happened to the brother? it was a good book over all don't like the ending

Can it get any better

This series is the amazing story I thought it would be. I'm very happy to have read it, but sorry that it's over.

the reading of the story

it was a good story but the way the story was read a lot of words were mispronounced through the whole story. Words were repeated through the whole story.

Finished but hated this series

Sadly… these fell far short of the hood romances. If I’m going to read a hood romance I want quality and the crazy detective angle took it too far… and her fear/love of Markell was a bit crazy too.

Drawn out but had to see the ending…

This story really could’ve been a stand alone or just 2 parts at most. The crooked detective got away with way too much & seemed to outsmart him more times than not. I felt the story had great potential but both main characters kept doing & saying dumb sh** smh overall held my interest & happy ending felt rushed & so did the showdown. We definitely like the underdog & when the unexpected happened. I felt the Charmaine character shouldn’t have gone down so easily when she seemed to feisty & the way she went out didn’t fit the way she was presented. And the main female character shoulda had more heart & some kick to her. She appeared too weak. Keep writing I’d try another book
