Wholesome but so slow moving that it’s painful

I listed to all of these & some are way better than others. I am a lifelong Christian and follower of Jesus. That said, I had a hard time deciphering the thinking of many of Ms. Gussman’s characters. Sometimes she makes believers look unbelievably stupid & naive & it makes me wonder why anyone would want to become one if this were their first exposure to being one.

Excellent reads for all ages

These stories were difficult to turn off, especially at bedtime. Jessie's way of starting and ending chapters didn't help me either. The only book that I had trouble with was the last book with Carmen. With a few more words, she could have been abused,which would have caused me to close this book. I have worked with victims of domestic abuse and showing God's love to build them back up is the best way to give them life and hope.

Romance, excitement, and godly—great reads!

I loved how she shares God’s word in a day-to-day way. Using situations that we deal with in life and teaching us to turn to God for strength. Very practical!

Christian Values

I like that these stories have Christian values, strong characters, clean language & romance. I enjoyed listening to the reader too, nice voice.

Excellent series

I loved this series! Usually when I get started on a series after the first few books it starts to get a little redundant but not this one. It was good all the way through.
